Should I quit PhD?

I took PhD admission two years back in Capella University with a prospect of completing it without much havoc. For the first 8-9 months, I was excited all the time while strolling in the college library, scheduling sessions with the adviser, attending the conferences. But then, this excitement took no time in turning into the work frustration. I had no idea PhD could be so challenging. Now it has been two years that this academia is saddening me all the time. I get my drafts rejected, the back to back deadlines for work completion are tiring. I’m exhausted now. I’m thinking if it’s a good idea to I quit the course. Neither I’m able to continue it nor I can make my mind that I should quit. Tell me pals, what shall I do!
